Pastor Jesse comes to us from Staunton, Virginia where he has served as the pastor of Christ UMC for the past three years. Before pastoring in Staunton, he was the associate pastor of Thrasher UMC for two years. 

 In 2012, Pastor Jesse felt called by God while working as a sommelier (wine specialist/nerd) in a private club in Atlanta, Georgia that catered to business leaders. This calling led Pastor Jesse and his wife, Pastor Carrie, to move to Kentucky and attend seminary with their two children (now three). After seminary, they continued following God's calling and began their pastoral ministry in Virginia. 

Pastor Jesse enjoys cooking, playing classical guitar, shooting hoops, air conditioning, cool weather and getting to know people. And FYI, you may catch him skating through the hallways in his “heely” shoes.
